If you are new to our weekly newsletters, here is some information about us. We have added all our past newsletters to our blog so if you want to you can read more about my irrational fear of roaches or how I lost my keys and found them in an unusual place.
I have received many emails about the COVID-19 virus and what companies are doing to protect people. I’m sure you have too.
It’s scary; it’s overwhelming; it sometimes feels absurd and overreactive. In this article about the Spanish flu, it shows how social distancing is effective, and timing is everything. Our goal as a community is to flatten the curve.
For now, we aren’t canceling classes or get-togethers. We clean, we have soap we have disinfectant. We even have toilet paper. If this changes we will let you know.
If you are signed up for a paid class or event and are not feeling well, we will change it for you. If you are nervous and need to stay home, we support you. Contact us, and we will figure it out. We are very flexible.
We hope that you feel safe here and want to visit if you can. We also encourage you to make the best decision for you and your family. Call us or email us. We are here to help!
Many of you have RSVP’d for our Little Stubbies Party next Saturday. We feel it’s best to cancel the event at this time. We are working out how to have virtual voting starting on Saturday instead. Then, we will have a party to announce the winners in April or May some time.
The cake was ordered, but that’s OK we can cancel it. Or maybe not… hmmm…
We’ll email you this coming week with more voting details.
Lastly, for your enjoyment, I’m including our last IGTV Q&A video. Well, there’s two actually!
Here’s the most recent video that involves us going way off topic and talking about dogs that scare Lily.
Before that, we talked about food. Which has nothing to do with yarn, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Enjoy and take care of yourself!
