Named after the colorway of the yarn used, “Ice Dreamer”, Icescape represents the beauty and color of winter and ice, with the border mimicking icicles and the way the colors in the yarn pool and flow throughout the piece. The garter stitch body allows for a squishy fabric, making it cozy to wrap around you on chilly days. This pattern is a top-down crescent shawl, with the body in garter stitch and an attached on border worked at the end. Because the body is worked in simple garter stitch and the border is a simple eyelet pattern, it is a perfect fit for showing off your own handspun yarn. The Dreamer Fibre Muse is the muse of self-expression, so let yours shine through the yarn you chose to pair up with this pattern! Icescape is the sister pattern to the Phlegethon Shawl, it’s free counterpart
