The idea for Hearts on Fiber was conceived when the Needlecraft Center closed. Every small town, like Davidson, needs a local yarn store. When ours closed, an unfulfilled space for fiber arts opened. The urge was so strong to replace that “space” that we started planning a way to open a craft store.
We envision a place that feels like home, a place where you can craft, and a place to be encouraged and supported in any kind of art you choose.
Hearts on Fiber started by dyeing yarn because it was a craft we could control while looking for the right space for us. As we continue to grow, we look forward to providing Davidson with a cute fiber arts shop. We promise to be a place that you will want to visit, hang out at, learn a new skill, and maybe drink some coffee (while crafting).
